Step 1 - Check Stage
We review your current rateable value and the property information held by the Valuation Office Agency. This includes analysing comparable evidence and identifying potential discrepancies in the valuation.
If there appears to be grounds for challenge, we discuss the next steps with you before proceeding.
Step 2 - Challenge Stage
Where appropriate, a formal challenge is submitted to the VOA supported by valuation evidence. This stage involves negotiation and detailed analysis to determine whether a reduction is justified.
Step 3 - Appeal Stage
If agreement cannot be reached at the challenge stage, the case may be escalated to the Valuation Tribunal for England. Where necessary we assist with preparation of the appeal documentation through the process.
